Happy St. Patrick's Day/Jayla's 1st Birthday

On March 17th, Hudson enjoyed his second morning of sweet potato. He did way better today. He still didn't open his mouth at first and he made a bunch of faces, but then he suddenly didn't seem to mind it. He even started opening his mouth. He still wanted to grab the spoon  and feed himself. (On a side note, I think he is teething).

I took some St. Patrick's Day photos outside with Hudson.

When my mom got to the house, she took some photos with Hudson too.

My mom, Hudson and I spent the day at Jayla's 1st Birthday party. Amy did such a great job planning the celebration. They had a toy bar, lemonade stand, taco cart, monthly photos of Jayla hung up and a slide show playing. They also had someone making balloons, they had a photo booth, and they had a bubble show. Hudson loved the bubble show!! He sat staring at the bubbles, he was mesmerized by the other kids, and he even got to sit inside a giant bubble!! He did great until he put his arm in the pool of soapy water, then he cried hysterically, but I immediately grabbed him (I have never reacted so fast because I thought he was going to fall in) and after a few cuddles he calmed down. I was so proud of how brave he was for doing it!

That night, my parents came over for dinner. We had green curry from Life Thai Fusion. It is easy, fits in our diet and was green. For dessert we had mint chocolate chip cupcakes that I made. Even though they were allergy free, they were delicious!! Since Hudson is obsessed with phones, my mom bought him a phone of is own. He loves it!

We had a very busy, but very fun St. Patrick's Day.
