After going for a run tonight (We are attempting to get back in shape) I made the most delicious dinner. We had chicken parmesan and garlic bread for dinner. For dessert I used the ice cream maker we got as a wedding present to make homemade Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bits. Yummy!! (So much for the getting in shape thing)

Keeping Everyone in the Loop
So, I have been tossing around the idea of starting a personal blog for a while now. Especially since so many family members and friends live so far away I thought it would be a nice way to keep in touch. Since I love pictures and this share site is free...I figure I will try this out first and if necessary I can eventually graduate to a "real" blog.
One nice feature of this site is anyone can order photos from the pictures I've shared. :) (I'm not sure if it works internationally). Hopefully some of you take advantage of that feature.
I just sent an invitation to a few close family and friends so if anyone else you know wants to be a member have them send me a facebook message or e-mail with their e-mail addy and I will send them an invite. (There were quite a few more people I wanted to add, but didn't have their e-mail address or only had one that was outdated.)
My hope for this site is that our family in Australia doesn't forget about us.....j.k....hopefully it helps you guys feel like you are still part of our California lives. For my family that is semi-close, but sometimes it feels like you live as far away as Australia.... I hope this helps make you feel like you aren't missing out on our day-to-day life. For our local friends and family...I hope this is just a great tool to share photos and update you on new occurences in our life.
