On Saturday, August 20th, Nic, Tyler, Laura and I went to the Mammoth Music Festival. Nic and I sampled the wines, while Laura and Tyler pigged out on food. It was a gorgeous day and we were thouroughly enjoying ourselves. All day, they had performers, including Parachute and Michelle Branch. Nic and I got some hot dogs and my favorite thing were these pulled pork nachos with bbq sauce. They were amazing!! By dusk, the wine tasting had ended so we grabbed a bottle of wine and sat down to watch Michelle Branch perform. For the grand finale the Goo Goo Dolls performed! It was so cool! I was drinking away and dancing in the middle of the forest, watching the sun set behind the stage, while the Goo Goo Dolls rocked it! It was such a cool setting and a really fun night. After the show, our chaperones (Tyler and Laura) dropped us off at the Village and we went and had a few more drinks and danced the night away at Hyde Lounge.
The next morning, we got to listen to acoustic guitar while enjoyign a delicious brnch at Hyde Lounge to wrap up the festival. It was really fun to spend some time with Laura and Tyler and just a fun weekend in general!
