Kings Stanley Cup Finals Game 3

On Monday, June 4th, Nic, my mom, my dad and I went to Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. It was so exciting! It is so great that the Kings are not only in the Finals, but that they lead the series 2-0. The atmosphere was amazing in Staples Center! 

On top of the amazing atmosphere, it was an incredible game! At the end of the first, it was 0-0. The Kings scored in the 2nd period and of course we all went crazy! In the first two games, the Kings scored first, then the Devils tied it up, then the Kings won in overtime. I was starting to think that was how this game was going to go until we scored goal number 2 in the second period! Once the 3rd period started everyone was ecstatic. We had been playing great all night, killing penalty after penalty. We went on the Power Play and scored another goal!! Shortly after that, we got another power play and another goal!! The crowd went wild!! Everyone was ecstatic with the 2-0 lead, but 4-0 would be near impossible for the Devils to come back from and it was looking very likely that the Kings were taking this one! I just kept hoping Quick could get a shut-out. He has been incredible the entire playoffs and it would be such an accomplishment to have a shut-out in the Stanley Cup Finals. As the minutes kept winding down, the crowd got more and more excited. When the buzzer went off and the streamers fell, the crowd went wild. The Kings are now only one game away from their first Stanley Cup win!!!!
