32 Weeks

Baby’s Size: Jicama (This week was actually some sort of squash that is only available in the winter so we had to settle on this)

Baby’s Milestones: Baby now weighs almost four pounds and could be up to 19 inches long. Baby's digestive system is all set and ready to go. Baby is also accumulating more fat and his skin is becoming opaque. In preparation of the big day he is sleeping a lot -- with sleep cycles of 20 to 40 minutes long.

 My Weight: 165.2

Symptoms:  My contractions have been much better ever since I started taking my medicine every 6 hours. I still feel them whenever I stand up or walk around too much. My rib pain seems to be getting worse and I have a bit of upper back pain as well. I had a Dr. apt. on June 27th. Baby's heartbeat sounded great, he is still head down and my fundal height was 32 weeks. She also said she wants me to continue taking my medicine every 6 hours and to stay on bed rest until 37 weeks.

Cravings: No cravings this week.
TP: 10
Measurements: Waist: 38   Below Belly Button: 38½

Emotions: This week was really good because we were given some key items like our bassinet, carseat and stroller so I'm at least feeling like we have a few things ready for baby. I also had a lot of help this week and a lot of distractions, so it was a really good week. We also met with two pediatricians this week so hopefully we can decide on one and get that checked off our to do list.

Feeling the Baby:  His movements  have gotten even stronger. He seems to be preferring my  left side now and his kicks really pack a punch. It has been fun having so many people around feeling and watching him move!
