Off to the Hospital

So because of the estimated large size of Hudson's head and large weight, our doctor, Nic and I decided that it would be best to induce. She asked us if we had any date preference and although I did, I thought it would be weird to pick Hudson's birthday, so I just said the earliest date possible. She scheduled us in for Tuesday, August 21st at 8pm. My due date. That day went by so fast as Nic and I rushed around trying to get everything ready. It was a bit surreal leaving the house that night and I got super emotional as we pulled out of the driveway. I kept thinking we were leaving just the two of us and coming home with a baby. It was overwhelming finally realizing how much our lives were about to change. Overwhelming in the best way possible!
