We stopped at Papa Fred's first. Papa was so happy to meet Hudson. He thought Hudson was a very good looking baby. I told Papa that I thought Hudson has his nose and he said, "Poor kid. Hopefully he grows into it." He did a good job holding Hudson (especially considering he just had open heart surgery), but would get anxious and want to give him back the second he got fussy (can you blame him?). It was really great to see Hudson and Papa Fred together.
After visiting Papa, we went over to Grandma Annabelle's house. She was so excited to see Hudson. She kept saying how soft his skin was and asking when he was born. She had a twinkle in her eye every time she looked at him. It was very sweet seeing her with my little boy.
Hudson is so blessed to be able to meet all four of his great grandparents on my side of the family.
