ENT Appointment

On October 26th, my mom, Hudson and I went to Hudson's Ear, Nose Throat appointment. I had to sit in a dental looking chair holding Hudson while the doctor stuck a camera down his throat. I'm glad my mom came because she helped hold Hudson still. The doctor said he had reflux, but everything else looked good. He said the sounds I described Hudson making were consistent with laryngopharyngeal reflux, but that it didn't look like Hudson had it. He said if he did, it was slight and he should outgrow it. He did say that dairy and wheat could be contributing to his congestion so he said to try and cut back on those. I had to smile at that because I had been dairy free for weeks and had already cut out wheat earlier that week. I was hoping wheat could be the culprit and maybe Hudson would begin to improve. 

After the ENT appointment we did some shopping at the mall and grabbed lunch at the Lazy Dog Cafe. They had a bratwurst special with sauerkraut and fries that I was actually able to eat (just couldn't have the bun or mustard). :) It was nice to have a relaxing meal after such a stressful week!
