7 Months

How is it already March and how is this adorable little boy already 7 months old?!! I need to figure out how to slow time down!! Hudson weighs 17 pounds 2 ounces. He is doing a few traditional crawls, but mostly army crawling to get what he wants. He is able to go from sitting to crawling and back to sitting again and he can even pull himself up to standing! He loves sitting up and playing with his toys, but his new favorite thing is standing! He loves it!! Now that he has figured out how to stand up on his own, I'm sure we will be seeing him standing a lot more. 

Hudson is very happy, very bouncy and very vocal. He loves to show you that he is in a good mood or enjoying something by bouncing up and down, smiling, yelling and flapping his arms. He is a very happy baby even with his rash (which is really bad at the moment-we have had a few nights of itching and bleeding again). Hudson thinks his daddy is the funniest person in the world and I have to agree. Hudson's eyes light up when daddy gets home from work and we usually spend a good 15 minutes every night trying to make Hudson laugh, which also makes us laugh! Hudson's laugh is without a doubt my absolute favorite sound in the world!! Hudson reminds me so much of Nic except for one thing: he is a blabber-mouth, which he obviously gets from his mama. ;) The other day I overheard our nanny say to Hudson, "you're feisty now...I can't imagine you at 2!" This made me smile. Hudson is feisty, but I think it is a great attribute. He is never content with a new skill he learns. As soon as he learns it, his sights are set on his next goal. He is determined. If he really wants a toy, he will get it. He has tons of personality. Hudson is pretty mellow and easygoing, but he is also very opinionated. He has an opinion about everything and he makes sure we know it. I love all these things about him! I must admit though, that I am a little nervous for him as a toddler too!
