Valentine's Day

Since we left for NY on the 14th, we celebrated Valentine's Day on the 13th. Hudson, Nic and I made this heart hand print craft. It is really hard to get hand prints of Hudson, so I did his first. When his turned out really good, I got all excited because I figured it would be easy for Nic and I to do it, but Hudson's print actually turned out the best.

We didn't really have a special dinner because we were leaving early the next morning for NY, but I did get to enjoy Chick-fil-A which may as well have been a special meal since it was one of my first off my diet. We gave Hudson his first Valentine card along with the book Snuggle Puppy. Nic and I also exchanged gifts. I got Nic a card and helped Hudson make a special card too with the cutest poem inside. Nic got me a can opener. Not exactly romantic, but certainly practical. We have been needing a new can opener for a while now.
