11 Months Old

On July 22nd Hudson turned 11 months old. He weighs 19 pounds 3 ounces and I'm not sure how tall he is. This year is just flying buy. I can't believe my baby is going to be one in a month. Hudson is really getting close to being a walker. He has gotten really good at balancing and can take quite a few steps in a row now, although if he wants something fast he still crawls to get it. He is such a sweet boy who just melts my heart. Now that he can take a few steps he sometimes walks to me and gives me a hug. It is the best! He still isn't very cuddly, but every once in a while I get lucky, usually when he is tired, and get a cuddle for a few seconds. Hudson has also gotten really good at throwing balls, in fact he is so obsessed with balls he can barely concentrate on anything else when we are at Gymboree. He has also gotten better at sharing.He likes to pass things back and forth. Another funny thing he does now, is when he wakes up from a nap he throws all of his pacifiers out of his crib, the last thing to get thrown out is his blankie. Once everything is out, he calls for me to get him. He also knows when he hears the back door it means dada is home. He looks towards the door and says dada, then when he sees Nic, his eyes light up. It is so cute! Hudson does so many things that make him unique and special. I find myself looking at him in disbelief all the time thinking that my heart might explode with the love I feel for him. He is just the best little boy and I'm blessed to be his mama.
