Maui Day 8

June 24th was one of the most amazing days. A bucket list worthy experience that I will never forget. We went out on the BRB again and because we had Hud with us we decided to go to Honolua Bay. As we were nearing the bay we saw a pod of spinner dolphins. They were putting on quite the show and we were having a blast riding along next to them. They seemed to follow us into the cove so we all threw on our snorkel gear and hopped in the water. At first we swam out as fast as we could and it seemed like we were going to miss the dolphins, but then the entire pod swam back into the cove and we were surrounded by dolphins. It was incredible. One swam right under me then jumped just next to me. Dolphins are my favorite animal and seeing them that close in the wild was exhilarating. We even got Hudson out in the water with them (he was too far away to see them in the water, but he did see them from the boat). 

As if the day hadn't been amazing enough, we came back to the house and enjoyed Mai Tais in pineapples! Then we went to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner, Lahaina Grill. Justin even babysat Hud for us so we could have a relaxing meal. It was delicious just like always and so much fun.
