On October 22nd Hudson turned 14 months old. He weighs 20 pounds and 6 ounces. I'm so bummed, I somehow missed the monthly photo this month. :(
Hudson now points to his eyes, nose, ears, mouth, tummy, belly button, toes, peepee, and hair when prompted. He sits and stands on command and reaches up and down. He makes a really funny grumpy face before he falls asleep. I'll notice him while driving, and he will be glaring, then a few minutes later he is out. He also humms himself to sleep. He has gotten really good at laying back in the bathtub. We call it relaxation station. He wiggles his toes, snaps his fingers and kicks his legs when we ask him to. Hud can suddenly keep up with the older kids at the park. He throws and kicks the ball, catches the ball, goes down slides, climbs up the equipment and he even runs down the hill. It was still a bit hard for him to walk up the hill. Hudson now signs more and all done. He does a funny thing with his head to make eye contact so he can point to what he wants. Hudson says boo, woof and moo. Hudson played pretend for the first time. He pretended to pump lotion out of his lotion bottle, then pretended to apply it. He also pointed at a picture of an apple in one of his books and very clearly said apple. Hudson loves books!! He wants to sit and read books all the time. Nic and I couldn't believe it! During his bed time routine, Hud now turns on his sound machine and turns off his light. He opens and closes the door to wave bye bye, then closes the door and points out all his wall paintings.
