Lauren's Wedding

On October 12th, we drove down to San Diego for my friend Lauren's wedding. We stopped at my Aunt's house on the way. She watched Hudson for us while we were at the wedding and let us stay in her guest bedroom (Thanks so much Aunt Susannah!). Based on the photos Aunt Susannah sent us during the wedding, it looks like Hudson had a wonderful time with his cousins, Katrina and Sam. 

Lauren's wedding was beautiful. She looked stunning in her dress and the church had a really cool, Spanish vibe. 

The reception had so many cute touches including fun games, pie and ice cream, and a photo booth. The most thoughtful thing though, was that Lauren wrote a personal note to each couple in attendance. It was such a Lauren thing to do. She is the friend that sends a card in the mail every year on your birthday so it was very fitting that she wrote notes to each guest. It was very, very sweet of her!

After the meal, we had fun dancing the night away and taking photo after photo in the photo booth. We had a really great time with friends and it was especially nice for Nic and I to have a night out!
