Pumpkin Patch, Papa and Football

On October 25th, Hudson and I drove down to the OC for a Pumpkin Patch photo shoot with Maggie. While we waited at the first pumpkin patch, I got a call from Nic that Bill Sharmin had passed away. I was obviously upset by the news and was a bit thankful that the first pumpkin patch was unexpectedly closed so we had to drive to another one. That gave me a bit of time to process the news and regroup. Despite the sad start to the day, we ended up having a lot of fun at the pumpkin patch. Hudson was so cute and the photos turned out great.

After the photos, we fed the goats, Hudson rode the train  and fed and held guinea pigs. I took a picture of one guinea pig on his lap and he picked it up by the neck as if he was its mom. I wish I had gotten a picture, but I was so surprised that I focused more on Hud, then on capturing the moment.

We decided to stop by and visit Papa since we were so close. Hud was very happy to see Papa and I think the visit cheered Papa up too.
That night, we went to Vasquez High School to watch Justin's football game. Tons of our Acton friends came to watch, which was lots of fun. Hud had a great time too! He loves sports and especially enjoyed playing football himself.
