Sharing the News

I wasn't able to do special announcements like I did when I was pregnant with Hudson because I had to share the news right away with my friends at the wine tasting and I knew I needed to tell family first so I didn't have much time and everyone was super busy! I had to tell my parents via facetime while they were in Maui by having Hudson wear the shirt while I chatted with them. That is also how I told Nic's parents and sister. One day when my sister came over I put Hudson in the shirt to tell her. I knew I wouldn't see my brothers for a while and we couldn't make a skype date work with Stu so I sent them this photo:

On February 6th, I went to dinner with Rachelle and my sister so I could share the news with Rachelle. I wanted to order BFF shirts, but didn't have time (plus they seemed to be very gender specific so I thought it would be better to wait until I knew what I was having) so I made little best friend onesies and put both baby's ultrasound pictures in a photo frame. Rachelle was a bit confused at first thinking I was referring to Hudson, but when she realized how small the onesie was and the second much younger ultrasound photo she figured it out! She was so excited!! We had always wanted to have our kids together so this is a dream come true for us!!
