Baked Egg Challenge

On August 21st, Hudson had his baked egg challenge. My mom was supposed to come with us again, but Tyler had his stuff stolen the day before (out of my sister's car the night before his early morning flight to Chile for ski racing) so she was busy helping him change his travel arrangements and buy all new stuff. Of course this time, we hit tons of traffic on the way down, we had no little buddy for Hud to play with and I had to leave Hud with the nurse while I moved my car (all the street parking down there is only 2 hour parking and my mom moved the car last time while she went to get coffee bean for us). Hudson was still really well behaved, except for one little melt down towards the end, but it was exhausting for me! Carrying him in and out with all the stuff (things to entertainment him with and a container of sponge cake while holding Hud to cross the streets) then sitting on the ground and playing with him all while barely eating anything myself were all tiring. His doctor was so sweet and offered me some of the pizza they had ordered in for lunch and that made a big difference. Plus, the fact that we had no issues, Hudson loved the sponge cake and passed the challenge with flying colors made it all worth it. The sponge cake had baked eggs and milk in it so now we know we can give Hudson baked goods!! :) I was a bit more nervous about this one since eggs were the only food we saw an immediate reaction with as a baby, but he did great! :)
