Oma and Opa Visit

After my doctor appointment on August 27th, Hudson and I stopped by to quickly visit Oma and Opa. Oma isn't doing very well, in fact it took us about 5 minutes of waving and calling on the phone to finally get her to let us in the house. She is very confused these days and seems to be quite worried and distraught. I think Hudson could sense Oma's panic because he was a little nervous around her (he usually isn't at all). It makes me sad to see Oma withering away and who knows how much longer we have with her. Hudson gave Oma and Opa cuddles and kisses and followed the cat around. I gave them hugs and kisses as well and Oma got to be in her first "groupie" ;). It was a brief visit, but it is always nice to see my grandparents, even though it makes me sad to see them aging.
