RIP Dan

On April 25th, we learned about a large earthquake in Nepal and an avalanche on Mt. Everest where our friend from college, Dan Fredinburg, was hiking. Sadly, posts started popping up on facebook and then on the internet that he had been one of the people to die in the catastrophe. We couldn't believe it. Dan had been married to my good friend and sorority sister, Leslie Eggers, so I immediately reached out to her to send my condolences and then spent the rest of the day somewhat stunned and in shock.

Celebrating an incredible friend today. I hadn't seen Dan in years, but continued to follow his adventures on social media. I'll remember him as the life of the party in college, always cracking everyone up. Thanks for all the laughs Dan Fredinburg. You will be missed, but your legacy will live on.
