First Belly Touch

I had my first belly touch today (May 21st)! Obviously this is excluding family members. As I was leaving work one of the forklift drivers started congratulating me on my baby and my bump. He was so genuinely happy and excited or me. He asked me if he could touch my belly and I said yes. He rubbed my belly then leaned in and kissed it. I was caught off guard with the kiss and my first instinct was to step back, but it honestly didn't bother me. I've read about so many women who hate to have their belly touched and I wasn't sure how I would react, but I honestly enjoyed it. He then said God Bless me and my baby and cheerfully went on his way. The excitement he showed for me and the baby was absolutely contagious! I walked away with a huge grin on my face. In fact most of the production guys at work are super excited for me. Whenever they see me they all get these huge grins on their faces and all tell me how wonderful being a parent is and congratulate me. I'm really enjoying all the special attention and am happy my first belly rub was such a positive experience!
