Movies, Scrapbooking, and Hockey

On Friday afternoon, May 18th, my mom and I began our National Scrapbooking Weekend crop. We cropped most of the afternoon and evening on Friday except when I took a little break to go see What to Expect When You're Expecting with Sabrina. She had planned to take me weeks earlier and we had a great time together. The movie was a little bit slow, but very funny and sweet. We both cried a bunch (mostly happy tears) and I thought it was the perfect movie to see while pregnant.


On Saturday, Sabrina joined us for the crop. She did it Beena style though...she invited Amy to stop by with white wine. She did get two very cute two-page spreads done though! Hopefully she will crop with us more often.


On Sunday, my mom and I squeezed in a bit more scrapbooking and brunch before heading down to LA for the Kings game. That day was the day that Staples had the Amgen Tour of California bike race, the hockey game and a Clippers game that night so everyone was panicked about getting down there, parking and making it into the game on time. We ended up making it down in record time and they even had us park in a closer lot because our usual lot was already full. We had a fun time at the game, except for the part where the Kings lost. :( We were sort of expecting them to just sweep the series, but we have confidence that they will win game 5 on the road to win the Western Conference.

After the game, we went back to our scrapbooking event. I gave my mom her Mother's Day gift and we got a few more pages done. Then we went to the apple store and met Nic for dinner at Wokano.
