SURPRISE!!

On Friday, June 22nd, my mom had planned to come over with the boys to help pack up our kitchen since I can no longer do it. She brought lunch over and Nic came home and met us for lunch. Tyler mentioned that he wanted to show us something on his ipad so he ran out to the car to get it. He came in and said look what I found in the car and held up his ipad. I was somewhat confused because he had already told me he was going out there to get it. A few seconds later though, Nic's mom walked around the corner into the room. I was in complete shock and kept looking at her as if she was a hologram. I kept saying Oh my gosh! and I can't believe your here and started bawling. It was a good thing I was sitting down because it was very overwhelming! I hugged Susan so tight and just couldn't get over the shock that she was really here. Moments later Nic walked in the room with a stunned look on his face. He was extremely surprised as well. He looked so happy and hugged his mom as tight as he possibly could. 


Apparently, they had been planning this for months. My parents had paid to fly Susan out so that she could come to my shower, see my bump and spend some time with Nic and I. The original plan was to surprise us at the shower, but because of the bed rest and the her short visit they decided to do the surprise Friday. I'm so glad they did because it probably would have been too much for me to handle at the shower and most importantly it meant we had a few extra days with Susan. 


Nic and I honestly couldn't get over it. It was the best surprise we have ever gotten!!
