21 Months

On May 22nd, Hudson turned 21 months old. Hudson still weighs about 25 pounds. We had to do another round of sleep training with Hudson. While it has been nice to spend extra time cuddling Hud, I couldn't keep up with rocking him to sleep every night. Hud cried for about 40 minutes the first night before finally falling asleep, but since that night he has been going down and sleeping great! Hudson recognizes the letters H, O and the number 1 when he sees them written. He says ambulance now. He recognizes and says shapes: heart, star, triangle and rectangle. He also knows circle and square, but not as well. Hud really likes to sing and he makes up his own songs. He sings songs like Lion King and Airplane, but he also sings Rock a Bye Baby, Row Your Boat and Pirates Life for Me. His favorite song at the moment is Rock a Bye Baby. He sings it with me multiple times every night. Hudson loves hockey. He gets so excited any time a game is on. He says Go Kings Go and makes all kinds of sound effects. He also loves Disneyland. His favorite rides are teacups, rockets and Dumbo. He also "read" almost his entire first words book the other night!
