On May 25th, we took another boat ride to look for the cave. We found it this time and it was really cool! The beach itself was gorgeous, then we hiked up the hill to the cave.
The cave was really neat. We walked really far back into it and it just kept getting darker and darker. Hudson was a little scared, but he handled it pretty well.
It was so hot by the time we walked back down to the boat, but the water was much colder than normal (I guess we normally miss the memorial weekend trip because of our anniversary and the water gets warmer as the summer goes on). Hudson especially wasn't a fan. He didn't really go in the water the whole weekend (Actually, I didn't go entirely in either so I can't really blame him). That night, Randy put on a very impressive firework show that was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
On the 26th, we packed up and headed back across the lake. We stopped in the middle of the lake so people could jump off the houseboat. Nic, Justin and my mom did bubbles with Hudson and he practiced his driving skills again. I wasn't able to do a whole lot and the water being cold was a bummer because I am wimpy about that when preggers and swimming was one of the activities I could have participated in, but we still had a great time watching movies, playing games, chatting, and eating tons of delicious food.
