Shaw Wedding

On May 31st, I had the honor of being a part of my wonderful friend Lauren's wedding day. Lauren is one of the sweetest, most thoughtful, smart, and fun people I know and I feel so blessed to have her as a friend. She has found an incredible man to marry in Paul and I know they will have an incredible future together. Lauren of course was a stunning bride and the whole day was perfection (I wouldn't have expected anything less from my super organized friend). Every detail was so thought out and the entire day came together perfectly.
We had so much fun getting ready together and we all oohed and ahhed as Lauren got into her gorgeous wedding dress.
We watched Lauren open her gifts from Paul (I won't even share the details because the gifts were so amazing that it will just make all other women mad at their spouses, lol). Then Paul and Lauren went to see each other for the first time and take pics. Then we took bridal party pictures together.
We each took individual photos that were supposed to show our personality. I joked that normally I would do a jumping photo, then decided that it would be a good idea to try it despite being pregnant. As soon as my feet left the ground and I felt my stomach following about 5 seconds later I knew it was a bad decision. Both my legs gave out on the landing and I was extremely close to falling to the ground. I caught myself inches away and my legs were burning for a good 20 minutes after. Ooops.
The time had finally arrived for the ceremony to start. As I turned to walk down the aisle I admired the beautiful rose petal design until I stepped on it and almost fell. It was like walking on ice. I think I got two very large gasps as the pregnant girl almost fell twice walking down the aisle. The rest of the ceremony was thankfully uneventful. Lauren and Paul exchanged incredible hand-written vows and they added some really neat Armenian touches to their ceremony. It was beautiful and exciting to watch them become husband and wife.

The reception was just as gorgeous!!

We had so much fun in the amazing custom made photo booth!! I also had a blast out on the dance floor.

After the reception, we went to an after party for a bit before heading back to our hotel. The entire day was incredible and we had a wonderful time. We wish Lauren and Paul a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness!!
