On January 31st we went to UCI's homecoming game. We usually spend a good chunk of the day at UCI-we have lunch with my sorority sisters, we visit the Tri Delta house, we go to the street fair, we have dinner with Nic's basketball friends, then we watch the game with them (a few of my friends usually watch the game with us too- Ashley, Andre and Avery sit with us every year). Well, this year, with the Measles outbreak/scare we had to change our plans at the last minute. We ended up leaving Luc home with a babysitter and only came down for the Special Pre-Game dinner for past players and the game. We still had a great time. It is always nice for both Nic and I to catch up with friends and it was especially fun this year to see Hudson and Avery together. They had a blast! They were jumping up and down, waving pom poms, eating lolipops and cheering on the Anteaters. After the game, I met up with Kim while Nic caught up with his friend Ryan. Ryan's son, Drayke, is similar age to Hudson and the two of them had so much fun running around the court together. UCI's Homecoming has become a really fun tradition for us that we look forward to every year.
